Denominational Support

The Confederation of Reformed Evangelicals (CRE), a denomination with member churches in both the United States and Canada, adopted "Courage, Clarity, and Charity:  A Phoenix Declaration" as a memorial statement in its Constitution and By-Laws at their presbytery meeting held October 16-17, 2003.

Appearances

  • Pastor Jeffrey D. Niell, co-author of "Courage, Clarity, and Charity:  A Phoenix Declaration," spoke about the declaration and the subject of a biblical view of homosexuality at the Arizona Breakfast Club from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on March 15, 2003.  Elder Richard Klaus, the other co-author of the declaration, also made comments.

  • Pastor Jeffrey D. Niell, co-author of "Courage, Clarity, and Charity:  A Phoenix Declaration," spoke about the declaration and the subject of a biblical view of homosexuality at The Center for Arizona Policy's First Thursday Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on March 6, 2003.  A number of leaders who have signed the declaration were present.
